- Blessed are the poor in spirit: for their is the kingdom of heaven.

- Blessed are those who are persecuted in the course of uprightness; the kingdom of heaven is theirs.

- getting involved, helping the downtrodden; working for the equality of people.
- patient suffering and enduring hardships reap their reward.
- humility in all we do; nonviolence
- loving God with one’s whole heart, whole mind, whole soul.
- mercy and forgiveness.
- being willing to suffer for the right thing even if abused mentally or physically; accepting the consequences of living a good life.
- blessed are you in your poverty; you are not shut in the false world of convention, riches, and human security.
- blessed are you because you are gentle, you refuse violence and aggressiveness.
- blessed are you at all times and at every moment you want to be an instrument of peace; seeking reconciliation above all things.
- Blessed are you because you hunger and thirst for justice; your heart beats in the rhythm of the heart of Jesus.
- Blessed are you because you are merciful; you attatch your heart to misery; you will recieve mercy.
- Blessed are you because your heart is pure; you do not accept compromises.
- Blessed are those who create peace among the world, for they will be seen as the children of God.
- Blessed are you because you have now allowed your own conscience to develope; you have accepted persecution; you have not been affraid to proclaim the truth.
